I’m very passionate about animals and their care. I’m going to be studying veterinary technology at EFSC. I volunteered with the Humane Society in my old city (Valdosta, GA) and learned a lot about dog and cat behavior. I was a main kennel attendant which included feedings, enrichment/play, training, and administering meds. I also assisted in a few spay and neuter clinics- I drew vaccines, drew blood and tested, and prepped animals for surgery and monitored their recovery. I have had many animals of my own since I was very little, and trained my dogs myself with occasional help from classes to gain more knowledge on better training techniques.
