Since I was young I have been drawn to working with animals and am eager for any opportunity to do so. I grew up in a home with a range of pets from frogs and turtles to cats and both large and smaller breeds of dogs. I have worked as a caretaker for a variety of amphibians, indoor, suburban raised, city raised as well as farm raised outdoor cats and kittens, bunnies, gerbils, birds, fish and dogs and had the opportunity to look after a chicken coup in my hometown neighborhood. My experience has included but is not limited to things such as feeding, changing water, brushing, cleaning cages and litter and providing exercise and play time. I do have some experience providing oral medication to kittens and puppies as well as older dogs. I have experience in brushing, feeding and walking horses and minihorses but have generally been supervised doing so. I have vague experience with hedgehogs and ferrets and one naked mole rat but would have to be more thoroughly advised in what is required to care for them. I'm always excited to have the pleasure to be the one to allow for animals to get their exercise in whether I am doing so alone or joining a friend on a walk or at the dog park. My passion has been so obvious to the point strangers I've passed by on walking trails have immediately inquired if I would be interested to look after their dog and I would love the opportunity to provide genuine care to your pet/s as needed!
