A family in Myers Park needs a nanny for their 6YO daughter, 2Yo son, and newborn due in Jan. The family needs a nanny M- F, 8 - 6. (50 hr/wk). Best nanny is reliable, trustworthy, energetic, engaging, flexible, and most importantly, loves of caring for children. Currently, their son attends a half-day preschool 3 days a week and their daughter is in full-day school M-F. Full day care required on school holidays. Nanny must be proactive in coming up with fun activities to do with the children.
The family values a nanny who is able to come up with a fun plan for the day and lesson plans that provide an environment where each child can meet their individual goals and milestones. The children are extremely active and like to stay busy. Mom works in detached garage and respects proper work-from-home parent/nanny boundaries. The family would also appreciate a few overnights per year to allow the parents an occasional get away (which would be paid at a rate on top of the 50 guaranteed hrs).
The best nanny would be looking for a long-term position and would grow with the family over the next few years. Job starts Jan 6 or so, and pay is negotiable at $28-32 an hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, Paid time off, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
