Buddy Needed for Aquatics Camp during Spring Break

- $10.00 per hour

Hi, my name is Monica. My husband, Mike, and I have a lovable and adventurous 10-year-old son named Keegan. He has Down syndrome, is non-verbal, and is autistic—but he never skips a beat!
We’re looking for someone to be his buddy at Aquatics Camp next week at the YMCA. This person would stay with him throughout the day, assisting in the pool and helping him transition between activities. Occasional redirection may be needed, and they would also be responsible for helping him change after pool time.
Camp counselors will oversee Keegan’s overall care and supervision—this is a support role ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids and wants to make a little extra money for the week. The ideal candidate is a junior high or high schooler who is also on spring break.
