We need care for Mr. Fox. He is technically 18 but very "young at heart" let's say. He is developmentally delayed, blind, and has autism. He is non-verbal. He communicates through his body posture, movements, etc. He also has an AAC communication device that he can use a little bit. He has epilepsy and adrenal insufficiency, so our caregiver must be prepared for emergencies (knock on wood, we won't have any, of course!). He is pretty chill. He likes to bounce on the bed and furniture, so he is a bit rough on those things. He likes to ride in the car, loves to eat, swim, and listen to Yo Gabba Gabba (a lot!).
He needs help just being told to go to the bathroom sometimes and help cleaning up and remembering to wash his hands—things like that. I would love to get someone that could be a regular friend for us. We would love to have help to go on outings as well.
