Manhattan family seeking an experienced caregiver for a sweet and funny 22 year old young lady. Client uses a power chair and a speech generating device as she is non verbal. Needs full support for all ADLs including toileting. Caregiver ideally should have experience with disabilities and should feel comfortable lifting and transferring a young adult of 75 pounds.
The work day is very active including attending classes around the city, visiting museums, and supporting social opportunities. Some cooking and light household tasks. Hours 12-8pm. $35/hour with time and half pay for overtime and holidays.
Must be legal to work in USA and willing to work on the books. Health insurance available as a benefit.
