After-school Respite Care

We have two boys with a third on the way. Our 11 year old is on the autism spectrum with some verbal ability. Our 9 year old is typically developing and is usually out of the home with other after school activities, but is a help with his big brother when home. Our third is due this fall
This role is primarily for respite care activities for our 11 year old on the autism spectrum. These include meal prep, light tidying, laundry, dishes, errands, walks to area parks, and other childcare related activities that help him with ADLs and increasing his independence. Hours are approximately 3-7p, M-F and will occasionally vary with school holidays, etc.
The role will begin at 20 hours per week and ideally expand to 30 hours per week with addition of our newest arrival this fall. The ideal candidate will have patience, lots of energy, a positive disposition and a wide range of experience including special needs care. This is a payroll position and includes benefits such as PTO.
