We are looking for someone responsible, personable, and patient to help care for my dad. He is 75, and has just recently returned home after a long hospitalization. He needs supervision while ambulating (and occasional assistance) and needs help with dressing, toileting, bathing, and medications/meals. We have a caregiver who has worked with him a long time but we need someone who can work the days she cannot, which alternates week to week. We have been doing 4 hrs per day divided between morning / evening 3-4 times per week (example: 10a-12p, 8p-10p). Some days he has to go to dialysis at 12pm so ideally we would love someone who is comfortable helping transport him to/from (10 minute drive to Bethesda from our apartment in Friendship Heights). He is generally well-mannered and speaks English, French and Arabic fluently. My mother or myself are usually around to also assist and help answer any questions. Rate/schedule negotiable.
