1. Assist with walking exercise and with use of medical equipment like wheelchair and exercise materials.
2. Help make/assist with meals. possible bathing(rare),companionship, monitoring, putting in dentures, give/apply medications and bathroom needs. She sleeps a lot so it’s just more of taking her to the restroom, giving oral meds, and feeding with companionship/assisting her with movement so she doesn’t lay/sit for long periods of time, walking her around/exercises. She doesn’t converse so talking to her for conversation is not necessary(has previous brain injury which caused memory issues) but need to just take her to the restroom even when she doesn’t ask, putting in dentures before meals and removing/cleaning it after meals, observe any pain distress, just making her comfortable and giving her snacks. We will show you what needs to be done and you can decide if this is something you can do. She’s not high maintenance but requires assisting her to walk and sit in chairs. Would like someone who is compassionate and sweet.
3. Weights about 120, 5’3” so should be able to carry that amount of weight when lifting her. She is capable of walking but is fragile and unstable in balance so just needs to grab on to your arm when walking.
4. Medical background and Korean speaking a plus but not mandatory. She can understand some English. Just need to help motion her so she knows. Just need to use simple words and may need to repeat a lot.
5. In Home care because she is familiar with the environment which is important with someone who has memory issues.
We would like someone with experience and has knowledge with people with disabilities and how to handle her physical needs.
5. She is partially blind, has diabetes, dementia, memory issues, slow walker, and disabled.
6. Need in home care preferably 10am-4pm Mon-Fri or some of these days is fine too. Non-smokers
7. Must be able to recognize distress symptoms and understand how to handle a disabled person.
