- $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Hello, I am looking for a wonderful caregiver for my 12 year-old daughter, who is disabled due to a rare genetic disorder. She is a sweet girl and everyone who takes care of her falls in love with her! She is nonverbal and not yet walking independently. Candidate must be able to lift 75 lbs and be CPR certified. Special needs experience strongly preferred but not required -- we can train you. Some of the responsibilities include: engaging her in play and recreational activities, working on skills from therapy sessions (PT, OT, speech) preparing meals, assistance with feeding and dressing, potty-training, and changing diapers. The position is limited to occasional hours at this time, with a salary of $30-35/hr, depending on experience. Times of most need would be Tues/Thurs afternoons, weekday evenings, and weekend days. We have a few caregivers who help us already, but we are looking for additional people as back-up. Ability to transport (comfortable driving a minivan, clean driving record) a huge plus. Thanks for reading!
