Hi there,
This is for a after-school position for a non verbal teen (13 year) with autism who uses an ipad to communicate. Loves to eat, listen to music, and take walks.
We are looking for a compassionate, kind and energetic buddy/nanny for afterschool and possibly weekend support. This Responsibilities would likely be:
Weekdays
Receive child at home (child travels home in a cab)
Look after child for 2 - 3 hours until parents return from work.
Responsibilities include light meal prep, buddy support, bathroom supervision, activities at home or in backyard or drive to playground (optional).
Weekends (optional)
3-5 hours on Saturday. Playground, swim lessons, walks and home based supervision and care. We are flexible about the Saturday routine.
