Caregiver to Special Needs Young Adult

We are the proud parents of James, a 32-year-old young man, with special needs. We are seeking additional care givers to join our amazing team in assisting James to enjoy his best life. If you have any availability, and interest, after reading the background below, we welcome an introductory call.
James attends a wonderful Community Day Program called Enjoy Life More (ELM). Outside of ELM, he requires support. We are flexible, so there may be days/times/shifts that could work within your current schedule. We have a comprehensive educational/training program which will provide you with the tools and confidence for working with James.
James is a handsome, charming, and a funny young adult. He loves playing golf, bowling, going to the movies, dining out, attending ELM (his community day program), and going to watch Bay Area sports teams (including the Warriors, Sharks, Giants, A’s, Stanford, and the 49ers.). He lives in his own house, in Pleasanton. James has a nice car (that he unfortunately cannot drive). James’ caregivers use the car to go with James on fun outings.
James is diagnosed with PACS1 Syndrome, a rare genetic disease which impacts his intellectual ability. However, on a positive and exciting note, we are working with a scientific research team to find a treatment and/or cure (and we are close). Furthermore, James is mobile, active, fun, and he enjoys life. He has a great family and an amazing team of caregivers.
If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, we can set up a call and start the ball rolling.
Best,
Sandra & Mel
