We are first-time parents living in a 3-bedroom apartment with one very cuddly Whippet. Mom is returning to work in mid-October and will be working from home until our son turns 1 year old. Dad primarily works from the office but has flexibility. As a Christian family with progressive values, we aim to raise our child to be independent, kind, and resilient. We are a multilingual household, with mom speaking Chinese, dad speaking Brazilian Portuguese, and English as the primary language.
The job includes basic day-to-day care, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines. Plan age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development. Prepare meals and snacks as we introduce solids. Child's laundry (once per week) and folding. Keep play areas, nursery, kitchen, and living room tidy; occasional light vacuuming would be appreciated. Nanny is not responsible for pet care, including feeding, grooming, or cleaning up from dog.
We offer $30 per hour, with 2 weeks of paid time off and 3 paid sick days per year, plus 10 paid holidays. We will provide a written work agreement, with employment and payment through an agency. Reimbursement to cover gas and wear on the car related to the job.
Requirements: First Aid / CPR certification, PNCP certificate, three professional references, up-to-date vaccination, valid driver's license, comfortable with cameras in the nursery and GPS tracking for outdoor activities.
