Tim is a teacher and I'm (Jen) a tribal government employee. Our guy is almost 6, and we have a fluffy and happy 2-year-old dog. Tim has the summers off, so we're back here each September looking for a new special person to join the fun. I either work from home or am traveling, and have a consistent though irregular schedule which I know well in advance. Our guy loves to tell jokes, draw, play music and is generally happy-go-lucky, ready to pal around doing whatever you might suggest.
Please be responsible, confident and intuitive, ready for creative, engaging play. We value hands-on play outdoors whenever possible, music, cooking, building and reading. We consume very little screen time, love to play in our yard (we really love our yard) and go for bike rides and walks to local parks here in our quiet neighborhood. Outdoor time is important to us.
The schedule varies by the week, and because it's very part-time, we offer 40 hours paid time per month, if we use them all or not.
A typical week might include:

Mon: off
Tues: 2:30 - 5 pm (pick-up, home > play)
Wed: 2:30 - 5 pm
Thurs: 7am - 8:45 am (morning routine, take to school)
2:30 - 5 pm
Fri: 7am - 8:45 am
2:30 - 5 pm
