A Myers Park family is seeking a temporary, experienced nanny for their infant son due in November 2024 and occasional care for their 3-year-old son. A typical schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm is needed. Initially, the nanny will assist the mom with newborn care, light housework, errands, and driving the toddler to school. In February, when mom returns to work, the focus shifts to the infant's needs: following his schedule, feeding, changing,
engaging in age-appropriate activities like tummy time, playtime (indoor and outdoor), strolls, and facilitating playdates. The ideal candidate is honest, hardworking, attentive, experienced with newborns, comfortable with toddlers, and able to climb stairs. The nanny must be able to engage the infant throughout the day without distractions from phones or other devices. Occasional care for the 3-year-old may be required when school is closed or he is sick.
Each afternoon, the nanny may care for the toddler for 30 minutes while the mom breastfeeds the baby. The family has a cat so the nanny must not be allergic to and be comfortable with cats.
Job starts Jan 2025, and pay is negotiable at $25 an hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, Paid time off, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
