My father is a happy and kind man approximately 5 years into his Alzheimer’s diagnosis. My 78 yr old mother is his sole caregiver, and needs a few hours per week, on a routine basis, so she can leave the house, go to coffee with friends, get a haircut, etc. and a chance to catch her breath. My father currently has physical therapy out of the house once a week, but no other activities. He has full physical control and no trouble eating. He enjoys walking and watching sports. This year we want to cut down the amount of TV he is watching (it's where he is most comfortable) so we're looking for someone outside our family to engage with him, plan and partake in activities. Requirements: prior experience with Alzheimer’s seniors. Preferred: CPR and First Aid training. Thanks!
