We're a friendly, active family of 4, plus our mini-longhaired dachshund Audrey! Our house is overflowing with books & creative projects, and with 2 busy working parents and a high school senior, we could use some extra help with driving our younger daughter to activities this year!
We need a sitter who's a good driver with their own reliable car to pick up our 11-year-old Lilly from school at 2pm and drive her to two different activities (at 2:50pm and 4:15pm), then bring her back home. We're flexible on how late you'd stay, but it would be helpful if you could prep snacks or a simple dinner! Lilly will sometimes have homework to do, but also loves to read, do arts & crafts, play card games, dance, or just be creative and silly.
The most crucial part is having someone who can do the driving (which zigzags from Lexington to Newton and back, then home to Belmont) between 2-6pm. If you'd like additional hours, we could always use some extra childcare coverage (e.g., staying Thursday till 9pm bedtime, or another evening so we can have a date night!), but that's up to you and your availability -- we're flexible and want to support what works for you, too!
