My son Jackson has type one diabetes. So Before breakfast , lunch and dinner we check his blood sugar. You poke his toes and Squeeze his toes to get blood to test his blood sugar. You will have to give him insulin so you will deal with needles but my son really good at being good with it. He’s been diagnosed since he was one year old. And my son is almost Three years old He will freak out after he gets the insulin what just rubbed the area and he might just wanna hug. Other than that, he’s pretty good with all the poking and getting needles. Jackson is having problems learning to talk still we have him in speech therapy. He’s trying but he’s there yet. He does know few words and we are teaching him so sign language until we can get him to talk I also I have a daughter doesn’t any problems and she’s almost two years old.
