Our daughter Leia was born July 15th 2024 with trisomy 21 also known as Down syndrome. We have done the best we can so far with trying to set her up for success. She recently started school at Ashford Rise school of Dallas. This school was created to help kids with special needs get the early intervention they need as well as teach them through several forms of therapy speech, music, feeding etc. all the way up until grade 6. While we were honored to be accepted into the program it has made it difficult on her mom and myself as far ensuring pick up from school and having someone to watch her in the time frames we have to work. Mom is a lash stylist and I myself (Dad) am a truck driver. So my schedule doesn’t make it easy on mom trying to retain hours at work that coincide with what her manager needs from her. So we are looking for help.
