I need someone who can come to the house a few days a week to hang out with my 87 year old dad. You would make meals. Watch him to ensure he doesn’t fall. Make sure he takes a shower, brushes his teeth. He does not need assistance with personal hygiene, just someone to make sure he is actually doing it. Provide entertainment for him like going for a walk, spending time outside, watching movies, practicing his speech. He has aphasia from a stroke he had in 2018 and does not communicate but uses a tablet and visual queues to communicate. He has some dementia and forgets how to do simple tasks like cooking, using the remote.
