My father-in-law needs 2-8 hours of care per week. His wife is the primary caregiver but needs relief weekly for errands and her own health visits. He is 73 with speech impairment and partial mobility. Care would include administering medicine, assisting him to get around as needed in the home (bathroom, kitchen), providing snacks, beverages, or meals (that will be left ready to serve), and calling his wife/doctor if he has any health emergency while she is out.
