My son is 8 and was recently impacted by an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) clinic suddenly closing. We are looking for care Tues-Fri one week and Wed-Fri the next week. There are a few overnight care opportunities if interested and it is a good fit. He loves water play, riding his bike, and playing in any kind of sensory bin. Out of home activities to support increased peer social interactions is highly encouraged. Educational support with letters, numbers, and matching. He is nonverbal and uses an alternative communication device to say wants and needs with sign language. I will support the care provider in learning each system. Be comfortable in monitoring for seizures. He has never had one but is at an increased risk and is under seizure precautions. no medication administered for seizures.
