Personal care assistant needed for 11 year old with special needs. Must be reliable, dependable. patient, and understanding.
My son is a happy, silly boy who enjoys animals, Sponge Bob, and being outside. He exhibits heightened anxiety, impulsivity, language delays.
Duties:
-engaging in communication and activities to support social and language development
-supporting physical and behavioral needs
-picking up at school (or getting off bus)
-maintaining a calm environment to support anxiety
-assisting with afternoon arrival home/meal prep

Monday and Thursday 3:15-6:00

*We receive funding through a waiver so as a PCA, you do need to fill out an application, submit documentation, and file taxes. Pay ($25/hr) is every 2 wks via direct deposit. There is also a quick online training. You will clock in/out on an app and write brief notes at the end. It sounds like a lot but it truly is not!
