SEEKING energetic, reliable & patient caregiver for 5-year-old with special needs in South Deerfield. We are hoping to find a long-term candidate who can become an extension of our family.
HOURS: 18-30/wk. Mostly after school/evening. Bonus for someone willing to help w/overnight care 1-2x/wk.
START: negotiable btwn now & early Dec
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be an effective communicator, able to regularly lift 35+ lbs, and have your driver's license + own car. Any background with cerebral palsy, PT, OT, adaptive communication, sensory processing, special ed, or neurology is a plus, but not strictly reqd. The most important skills are initiative, enthusiasm, patience, the energy & physical strength to crawl around with our son and carry him, & the willingness to learn, keenly observe, share ideas, and help promote his development with us.
