Hello! We’re a family in Cape Cod looking for a patient, reliable, and engaging caregiver for our 6-year-old daughter, who is autistic. She’s bright, curious, and loves books, sensory play, and routines that help her feel safe and supported. We’re seeking someone who truly understands or is eager to learn about working with neurodiverse children.

What we're looking for:

Part-time, occasional, or respite-style care (flexible schedule)

Mostly afternoon or weekend availability

Support with play, emotional regulation, light meals/snacks

Comfortable with toileting reminders and transitions

Ideally comfortable with low-verbal or AAC communication

Duties may include:

Playing and engaging in sensory-friendly activities

Keeping a safe and structured environment

Light clean-up after play/snack

Occasional transportation (e.g., to park or activity)

Requirements:

Experience with special needs, preferably autism

CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)

Background check and references

Calm, consistent, and nurturing presence
