Lovely, funny sweet 21yo with special needs is graduating her transition program in June. She goes to day program now, Mon. and Wed. We hope by the time she graduates that she will have more days. Her day program is unable to provide one to one support to help her engage with everyone at the day program. Possible seizure medication will need to be administered due to there is not a nurse on staff.
You would need to arrive at our home and finished getting her dressed. She would have already been downstairs and fed breakfast. Then you will need to transport to day program. Stay with her. Mom would PU.
On days when no program/school you would be in home w/ her. Prepare food possible give medication. Mom will be in and out.
I would love it if you went into community. Go to the grocery store,movie etc
I would not require household duties. Your goal is to take care of her.
Need to know visual schedule exp with special needs req. Seizure first aid will be required.
