Ernie is a small child with multiple complexities stemming from a genetic disorder. His primary symptoms are dystonia, which makes his muscles and joints stiff, cortical vision impairment, which affects his visual input, and hip dysplasia. He is non verbal and immobile. He enjoys lying on the floor and playing with toys or being held. He requires spoon feeding and eats soft purees. We are looking for babysitters to cover the hours of 8:00am to 1:30pm and potentially 3:30pm to 5:30pm. His special education preschool is at New Field Elementary and his class is from 1:15pm to 3:30pm. We are asking that our babysitters transport him to and from preschool. Ernie is an easy going little boy and warms quickly to his caretakers. It is worth noting that though he is 4 years old he is the size of a small 2 year old - due to his conditions. Thank you for your time. We look forward to hearing from you.
