Seeking to hire a caregiver to help my disabled adult brother-in-law, Joshua, who lives with me and my wife in Ukrainian Village, West Town Chicago, IL.
Joshua is 41 years old, has cerebral palsy from birth and uses a power wheelchair for mobility. Joshua has no use of his right arm and limited use of his left arm and hand. Joshua works at Home Depot as a Greeter and needs help before and after work
Two 2 hour long shifts currently available with more possible for people who demonstrate reliability - $35 an hour with weekly pay
Shift #1 7:30am to 9:30am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
– Help my brother in law get ready in the morning to go to his job a Home Depot
Shift #2 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
– Help my brother in law when he gets home from his job at Home Depot
Job requirements include getting him out of bed using a hoyer lift, transferring to bathroom via a manual wheeled toilet chair, showering and preparing tooth brush, putting on an external condom catheter, transferring to powered wheel chair, preparing breakfast and lunch, giving medication, helping him on and off paratransit, removing and cleaning condom catheter
