Parent with Alzheimer's

Hello,
My dad is 71 and is in the middle stages of Alzheimer's. My mom is his caretaker but we are in need of someone to spend time with him/watch him as she needs to run errands or do yard work. He may need assistance in the restroom on occasion but not always. This is my first time every asking for help so I don't know what rates are common so apologies.
