I am looking for someone to help care for my 28 year old son who has Autism. We are looking for someone to help on weekends and on Friday afternoons. There will also be opportunities from time to time to stay daytime/overnight hours with him so that my husband and I can take a break.

Nicholas has goals that the works on with family and his caregivers, he needs help with making his meals, going on outings, and over all just needs someone to stay with him and make sure he is safe as he cannot be left alone. He is semi verbal but cannot hold conversations and his usual answers are yes to everything. He is able to communicate his wants/needs well. Duties include, helping him with meals, working on some of his goals that are set for him, hanging out with him, taking him on outings.

He is very fun to be with. Loves to play video games, loves watching his VHS tapes, playing his keyboard, and also playing his tablet. He loves to read textbooks, and often likes it when you sit with him and read with him.
