SPECIAL NEEDS. Seeking a part-time, after-school caregiver near Decatur for 1 teen. Start the last week of August 26 - June 13, 2025 (and beyond if avail). We would prefer someone who has an open, enthusiastic personality and a passion working with special needs kids. Note, we have one service dog, Kirby! Daily routine for carer is to pick up child and drive to Decatur, help with structured activities for a child with a sweet, well-behaved, mostly non-verbal teen with cerebral palsy. This includes support for after-school routine with transfers to and from transfer chair, to and from walker, daily floor time, bathroom routine, light academic activities. First week, training with present part-time nanny. Use payroll service for weekly paychecks! Mon-Fri 2:30pm-6:30pm or equivalent of 20 hours/week on a flexible schedule after school pick up.
