We are looking for regular staff for our 27 yr old son with high functioning Autism. He wants someone who is energetic and lighthearted. He likes to go to the store and into the community. He is able to preform his own ADL's and he is verbal.
CPR/First aid is required. Pay is through Acumen. Must have own transportation and current auto insurance. Background check and fingerprinting required.
Our son likes to play card games, dominos, and Lego's.
He doesn't like to watch TV or movies- and he does not like staff who ignore him or play on their phones all day.
Preferences given to those who are familiar with Autism and behaviors. Preferences to someone who has worked with Acumen prior, or has knowledge about waiver services.
Hours are 2:30-7:30p Monday- Thursday. Also looking for Sunday hours possibly. Punctuality is mandatory. He gets home from his program and cannot be alone. Pay is dependent on experience.
