We are a family of 4, me and my husband and my 17 yo son and my daughter. I need babysitting for my daughter who is 15 yo and has special needs. She is non verbal with significant cognitive deficits. She is small for her age so presents more like a 9 0r 10 yo. Her challenges are her tendencies to engage in self injurious behavior (SIB) which is largely controlled through medication. She is otherwise affectionate and friendly and does not exhibit any violent behavior towards others.
The role would require helping feed her and changing her clothes for bedtime. She goes to bed early and so most of the babysitting would simply require being at home while she is asleep. She is in diapers but also goes on the toilet.
I am in the new tampa area and am looking for weekend help Fri and Sat or Sat and Sun and can be flexible on the specific days/hours but mostly interested in the pm times.
