Ellis is 3 years old with a 4 legged big brother and 2 hard working parents.

Ellis was born with congenital heart defects that required a catheterization procedure and 2 open heart surgeries, replacing 3 valves, followed by complications of stroke causing seizures, all within the first 2 months of life. He's a warrior and doing wonderfully! Ellis just started preschool and receives speech therapy for an expressive language delay. He is fully receptive and is able to communicate, but as of now his word use is limited. Ellis has to take medication daily; 1 pill crushed in applesauce in the afternoon, which he handles like a pro (since he is). Other than all of that, Ellis is just like every other extraordinary, beautiful, and amazing little boy. He's hysterical; a showman at heart, with a repaired heart, who will steal your heart.

Looking for an occasional sitter to help if I work late and my husband wants to pick up an extra evening shift, or perhaps even a date night!
