I have an 11 yrs old son with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, he is non-verbal & non-mobile, but having said that, he has a HUGE personality, a great sense of humor, and a smile that lights up any room. He receives various services from the State of CT - one of which being care, we pick who we want and the state pays them. We do not have any say in pay rate, which ranges from $19 - $22/hr pending experience and we are able to have someone in up to 32hr/wk. Note: He does NOT have a feeding tube, IV's or anything else connected to him.

Needs: Mon - Fri 3pm - 7:30pm
Tues and Thurs (only) 6am - 8am
Some Sat.

Duties include:
- Getting him off the bus everyday
-feeding snack/dinner
-Tues/Thurs mornings - feed breakfast
-showering
-change as needed
-interact w/ him (he has an adaptive bike, loves bubbles, arts/crafts, music, walks)
-folding/putting away his laundry
-cleaning up his room/any messes made during play time
-IF possible, range of motion (which we are happy to teach)
