Funny 13 year-old non-verbal boy with a physical disability seeking an equally bright and creative part time nanny and aide to help at home, camp, and at school classes. He is adorable and super sweet, but cannot walk or talk. He would need someone who can lift him for transfers (100 lbs) and who can change diapers too. He can bear weight and walk a little bit... so you don't need to carry him around but you do need to be strong and energetic! We are looking for someone who is loving, affectionate and high energy. And able to engage him in a meaningful way. Tasks include integrating disabled student into all aspects of the regular education classroom, facilitating learning and social interactions. Must be a pro-active self starter who can devise fun activities for a child with motor and verbal delays. Schedule is flexible but ideally looking for someone a few afternoons a week to start. Rate starts at 35 an hour.
