Nanny/Mom Helper/Educational Aide

- $20.00 per hour

We are looking for a warm, fun and responsible nanny/educational aide for our 12-year old girl with Down syndrome. The individual will need to help her during her homeschool sessions with a teacher, and take her to extracurricular activities. Afternoon pick up of my son (5th grader).
Responsibilities
- Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games)
- Prepare children’s meals
- Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful, appropriate play with peers, and independence skills.
- Transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities
- Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms
- Assist with homework and chores
- A clean driving license
-High School diploma; College degree with further training in child -development is a plus
- First aid certification is a plus
