We are in search of a compassionate and skilled care provider to support our 20-year-old son who has intellectual disabilities. The care provider will be responsible for engaging him in age-appropriate activities that foster his independence and assist with his personal care needs. Responsibilities include:
Spend time with our son doing things he enjoys and help him learn new skills
Help him with everyday things like getting dressed, going to the toilet, and eating meals
Support and encourage self-advocacy and decision-making.
Qualifications include: an open mind to work and adapt to my son's personality; respectful and empowering approach to care
