My name is Stephanie Kannarr, I am an at home mom and have had the pleasure of working with children for most of my life. When I was young, I ran the Nursery School at Church. I have worked for both Tutor Time and La Petite Academy as a Lead Teacher until July 2004 when my son was born. I have had the pleasure of being a Nanny for several families with children ranging in ages from infant to teenagers, and a family who had a set of twin boys (3 years old). I am very involved in my community and enjoy teaching my son and other children about what is going on around us. I am part of Habitat for Humanity, Generation United, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the general Glendale community events. I encourage my family and my son to take part in the activities such as neighborhood Read more clean-ups, 5K’s, and different festivals and educate him on the importance of helping others. I believe that adults can learn just as much from children as children can from adults. My philosophy with children is television and sweets are privileges that are not needed all the time. Outside can be playtime and educational while getting all their energy out. I also believe children should be played with. I have games that I have gathered over my many years for all ages, even teenagers like them.
