Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a recently graduated nursing student from Drexel University, located in Ballard. I will likely begin a full time job as a Registered Nurse in December 2024 or early 2025, so I am currently looking for a short term position before then. I am also interested in one time or occasional babysitting, which I would also be open to continuing after I begin work as a nurse. I have over 4 years of experience as a nanny, which includes 3 years of infant care experience. I have experience with kids of all ages and with caring for up to 4 children at a time. I also coached soccer classes for 3 years for kids aged 18 months - 12 years. I was a short term au pair in Dublin, Ireland in the summer of 2022, providing live in care for a toddler for Read more a few months. I have also worked with infants and children in various clinical settings during my time in nursing school and I hope to go into pediatric or neonatal nursing! I am First Aid and CPR certified at the healthcare provider level. I am up to date on all vaccinations. My schedule is very flexible for the next few months. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

Rachel was great with my daughter this week. My daughter is a 7 year old with high functioning ASD and ADHD. She watched her for a few hours and I came home to a happy kid that hugged Rachel goodbye. (Always a good sign). She is a good communicator, calm demeanor, friendly, and responsible. I am already looking to hire her again in the near future. Highly recommend.

Rachel was great with our kids. She is punctual and flexible. My kids had a fun time with her and she was able to handle both a 6 and 2 year old with different interests. She is very calm and was even able to get my kids to sleep, which never happens with a new person. I would highly recommend hiring Rachel!
