Hi! My name is Kelsey Trice and I do not just love children, but I am passionate about them. I work at a preschool/daycare as a teacher at Roulach’s and have babysat the children of family friends since 2022. I plan on doing a lot of innovative and impactful things in the education system one day because of my love for children. I see children as little reflections of life, constantly reaching us adults new ways to manage, behave, learn, and live our lives the best way. I don’t believe there is one way of watching and nurturing children, but there is a specific way that each child needs to be taken care of that I will always figure out and implement for your children. I hope one day you see my name involved in something positive towards the education system. But until then, I have a passion for watching, Read more observing, and helping children be their best selves. I also have a desire to help parents have an easier flow with their own personal lives. I have worked at a private preschool for almost 2 years now with ages from 1 years old to 6 years old, mostly focused on the 2,3, and 4 year olds. I am in school for Child Development and Family Studies at the University of Memphis, and I previously studied Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I am looking to work with multiple families to create a full time schedule. I can potty train, and specialize in lots of arts and crafts. I can also help with homework, teach early education topics, and more. I use technology as a tool, but not something that kids around me depend on, as I feel technology should be secondary to learning, not the opposite way around. I also enjoy tutoring young kids on different topics if needed.
