I began my childcare journey at age 14 as a babysitter, and since then, I’ve built a strong foundation of experience working with children from infancy through elementary age. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in two licensed daycare centers, where I served as a full-time infant teacher for a combined two years. This role gave me in-depth experience with newborn care, developmental milestones, and creating a nurturing, structured environment for infants. In addition to my daycare experience, I’ve worked with school-aged children through the YMCA’s after-school and summer programs. These roles allowed me to lead engaging group activities, support learning, and foster a fun and safe environment for kids during out-of-school hours. I also have experience assisting children with special needs. My mom works in special education, and I’ve had the privilege of helping her with classroom activities and after-school programs over the years.
