Hello, My Name is Mariana, I’m 33 years old, 7 years experienced Full time Nanny. Fluent in English and Portuguese. Advanced Spanish skills. My experience goes from Newborns up to 12 years old kids. I like to mention My mom is an art teacher and pedagogic school counselor and so, growing up I’ve had always lots influences for creative, sensorial activities, arts and crafts. Also, I am very active and outdoors person, encouraging and supportive for developing child’s self-confidence. I am good with discipline; some people call me the Brazilian Mary Popping’s. I Had help kids eating healthy and engaging kids in both oriented and independent play/ clean up time. I have experience with autism spectrum. Some introductory sign language for speech delayed child or non verbal at age of 2 years old. I’m Looking for the right match with flexible starting date. I’m currently working for a lovely family in Old Town VA, whom I want to allow enough time to find the right fit. My starting date would be up to 2 months from our closure/ matching date. That being said I have preference for newborns/ infants, because it suits work with agenda for long terms/ full time, it’s great growing connection with infant on early stages when it requires less to adapt to a new person/Nanny. My ideal hours from 8/ 8h30 – 5/ 5h30 Monday to Friday with some flexibilities if necessary to attend classes. I would like to find a family to work for long term and now I’m focusing in kids that aren’t in school just yet. I’m open to discuss house hold chores, I’m good cook or I can run errands, such as groceries during my routine, for a higher rate and depending on the child schedule. My starting Rate it’s at 20$ hour. Note: I will always clean up after myself no matter what. I prioritize good relationship, honest and respectful communication.
