Hello, my name is Mario and I love working with kids. I spent a vast majority of my working career working for the YMCA in both in my hometown of Burlington and Charlotte, North Carolina from 2012-2020. I have served as an after school/summer camp counselor, lead counselor, pre school teacher and also an interim family service coordinator with my time at the Y. Due to internal factors I ended my tenure with the YMCA in June of 2020. Now that I have done some inner work with myself, I would love to start back working with kids again and give help to a family in need. I am very chill, easy going, hands on, engaging, and dependable. Being able to teach life lessons, build bonds, and make an impact in someone’s life has always brought me great joy. I have been. trained in CPR/First aid before as well.
