Hi my name is Abby, I am a stay at home mother of three children, ages one, two and my six year old step daughter I have half of the time. In my teenage years after high school I was a nanny for a family for two years, I also worked with another family watching their twin boys one being autistic. I am the oldest girl of six children, four of them being younger than myself and also my oldest brother and youngest brother both were autistic as well so I did a lot of raising and helping grow up. I am a Christian God comes first in my home and in my children’s lives. We do a lot of praying and praise and worship. We are not the typical family, praying over boo boos and feelings. We do a lot of talking through our emotions and redirecting bad emotions Read more into something more positive (picking the good of the situations), also, bringing God into the mix of things helps my children grow in faith and helps them to calm down quicker. I took a break from any kind of work when I had my first child I decided I wanted to be a stay at home mom and spend time with my baby it stuck and I had my second baby and just couldn’t leave them. I am in a place now where I would love to add to the mix and give the babies something to do during the day and invite more fun into our circle.
