I grew up surrounded by children in a large close knit family. I always wanted to work in childcare. I have worked before and after school settings. I have worked with special needs children. I have also worked in a family daycare. For the past 17 years I worked at a daycare as lead teacher and as third key (assistant to director) for a few years during that time. My primary classroom was infant and toddler. Since I have two children of my own a five and three year old I prefer to work with one child. I do need to need to bring my oldest to and from preschool. I have dogs and a cat so I'm comfortable around animals.
