Hello! My name is Avery Freeman, i'm currently a student at Kennesaw State University. I'm in my second year and i'm majoring in psychology. I am offering childcare, pet care, senior care, and household services. I have always loved kids and felt a sense of understanding or relatability with them. I have always had young kids in my family. I have 6 siblings who are much older, and they've all had kids. So throughout my childhood, i would babysit everyday while my siblings and my parents would work. It was never a job back then, it was just my life. Whether i was watching an infant and having to learn to read formula, or watching a 7 year and having to help with their homework-I was always around kids. When they got older and moved a little further away, l began babysitting for my neighbors. My attempts to gaining babysitting Read more work was slow starting, but once word got around, I was babysitting all over the neighborhood at 13. It was my favorite job, by far! I have also always been around animals. We've always had dogs, we always had cats. However, when I was 15, my family moved out to a farm and suddenly taking care of a cat and a dog was the least of my concerns. I was now taking care of goats, chickens, and turkeys. I have really dipped my toes into any kind of caretaking I can do. I'm at college now and l've had a steady job as a lifeguard at a year-round aquatic center for almost 4 years now. However, I'm ready for a change and I'm ready to be around kids and animals again. I believe if I can intertwine my favorite hobby (taking care of little kids and animals) and my yearning for a new job, I would be thrilled!
