Do not hire Ciann if professionalism, consistency, and reliability is important to you. Ciann was kind and respectful and pretty decent with my kids. However, she was extremely unprofessional and flakey. We had a paid trial day and it went well. She was supposed to come the next day but messaged that she had a family emergency. I responded that I understood and hoped all was well. I did not receive a message back. A week later, she said the situation was handled and if she should come the next day. I was hesitant but said sure. She did an okay job. I asked her to come the next day, she said okay. The next day, she asked me to pay her for yesterday cause she had an emergency (we agreed on weekly payment prior). I paid her. I later asked for her ETA. She said she thought I said to come the day after. I said okay. The next day, she did not show up either. I received no messages from her. I have not heard from her since. It appears she might’ve lied about the original family emergency and only came back because she needed money for that one day.

Ciann was constantly unreliable. We gave her numerous chances. Paid her in advance for a shift on July 2, she continued to have reasons of why she couldn’t work for us, until August 10, we requested our money back. It has now been over 3 weeks and we still have not received our money back. Wouldn’t recommend hiring her. Lost money, and out of a babysitter.
