Hello, I am a married mother of two wonderful kids! My daughter recently graduated from college and my son is a sophomore in college. I have aways loved caring for and working with children. In addition to raising my own children, I have an extensive background caring for infants through teens...including homeschooling my own children through 6th grade and teaching children’s classes. Excellent references will be provided, as needed. I am looking for work near my home in Westchester preferable within a 3 mile radius and ending my day by 5:30pm. Again, that is my preference but I can be flexible for the right family. Being home in the evenings for my family is important to me however, with advance notification, I am willing to help families with evening childcare or overnights. In addition to caring for your family, we can further discuss light housekeeping, meal preparations, laundry, running local Read more errands and pet care, so that you can enjoy more quality time with your family. I genuinely LOVE to cook, bake and garden. :) * As a parent of a child with dietary restrictions, I'm very conscious on food allergies and cross contamination. I’m also very knowledgeable in cooking with different food preferences like Paleo, Keto, Whole 30, etc. I have an excellent driving record and my own vehicle. I love helping children appreciate the outdoors. I'm willing to go to the local library for story times, go for adventure walks in the neighborhood and to the local parks, museums and zoo and interact through intentional playtime at home. Given the current situation with Covid, I can partner with you to create a plan that best suits your family’s preferences and at the same time try to create a fun, learning environment for your children. I love friendly dogs...I have 2 sweet fur babies at home. :) As beautiful as cats are, unfortunately, I am allergic to them. I wouldn't be able to be in a home with cats. I do not smoke and prefer to work in a non-smoking environment. I love music and aways listen to positive and encouraging music in my car. I know that words have the ability to express love and to tear down.
