I became a caregiver originally as a part time job one summer and I really enjoyed it so it became my primary job. I provided care for both elderly and kids from infants to 14 year olds. I had an assisted living home which required first aid and cpr cert amongst other trainings but had taken a break to care for my kids. Now that they’re a bit bigger now I am looking to get back to work more consistently again. I love my job because I saw how sometimes the smallest thing can put a smile on someone’s face who you’re providing care for. I love seeing kids develop and be there to help provide them support as they grow and learn. I try to just be the support I wish I had growing up, I feel that me trying to be there the way I wish someone would’ve Read more been there for me is what makes me good at what I do. I want to make sure I try my best to make them feel seen and well taken care of.
